GNO: updated calendar for year 2011

The next GNO night will be on 3/8 here at the studio ~6pm'ish (or whenever you can roll in). Kim included the information for Jubilee House and it's listed below. Liz will be organizing the volunteer event where we will make dinner for the residents at the Jubilee House. Date: TBD.

I will try to summarize as much as possible, but there is a lot of material to cover. We didn't get this accomplished in January, so it rolled over into February. Our GNO night on Tuesday was productive and we nailed down our sharities for the year. It was a tough job keeping our agenda on track. Trying to maintain focus amongst a gathering of chattering girls is more difficult than herding cats, however we did finally get the details out of the way so that everyone could get back to the fun at hand. Here is our schedule for the year. Save this email somewhere for reference. It takes me a long time to pull this together, so I'll refer to it often.

-Trout Unlimited: Stream Clean! We'll volunteer to clean up a local stream habitat. Kim will coordinate date & time.

-Bowling for Boobs: Michelle & Patrice's fund raiser for the walk. Needs folks to bowl, donate items for raffles, etc.

-3-Day Breast Cancer Walk: Patrice & Michelle need volunteers to help at the walk September 18 12pm-5pm.

-Team In Training: Karen & Teri will have a fund raiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Info TBD.

-Blood Drive: Mentioned, but need someone to coordinate if you want it to happen.

-Online directory for all GNO's to resource from. I would like it to include name, phone number, email address, brief description of your profession, fields of expertise, etc. Basically, it would be a way for GNO's to contact you for potential work, help, advice, collaboration, resources and vice versa.
-Share business ideas: Bounce business ideas off GNO's for feedback and inspiration, advice and evaluation.
-Share alerts as to what is happening in your field of interest and to spread the message virally. Example given: the Pebble Mine issue and bringing it to public attention to get legislators to evaluate the impact. Facebook viral.
-Post requests for help- If you need help moving something, watching a kid, walking a dog, organizing a fund raiser, etc...
